I. COMMON TERMS
Article 1. The Bulgarian-Turkish business council “Trakya” is established according to articles 1/5/ from the Statute of HCCI at the Haskovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry in partnership with the Chambers of Commerce and Industry from the cities of Edirne and Kirklareli, Republic of Turkey and with the financial support of the European Union, PHARE Programme.
Article 2. The Council carries out its activities on the basis of this guideline.
Article 3. In the current guideline, the Haskovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Edirne Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Kirklareli Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be called for brevity “Chambers”.
Article 4. The Regional Bulgarian-Turkish business council will briefly be called “Council” in the guideline.
Article 5. The Chambers jointly declare, that with their participation in the Council they will work for strengthening the economic ties and will guarantee ascending development of their members.
Article 6. Members of the Council can be:
- Physical and legal entities, producers of goods and services and commercial firms, registered according to the established legislative order in Bulgaria or Turkey with definite interest in the development of bilateral commercial and economic relations;
- Mixed Bulgarian-Turkish firms, registered in accordance with the established legislative order in Bulgaria or Turkey;
- Trade representations.
Article 7. The members of the three Chambers of Commerce and Industry, after accepting the current guideline, automatically become members of the Council.
Article 8. The seat of the Council is the seat of HCCI – Haskovo, Blvd. Rakovski № 9
Article 9. The correspondence letterhead will carry the logos of the three Chambers.
